Shai Hulud to replace Verse on New Found Glory tour
New Found Glory has tapped Shai Hulud to replace the recently broken up Verse. NFG guitarist (and former Shai Hulud vocalist) Chad Gilbert commented:
As most of you already know, the band Verse, who was meant to open our tour has broken up. We were excited to tour with them but that’s life. We feel it is only fair to replace them with a band from a similar genre. That way kids who listen to Verse won’t be too disappointed… plus we feel it makes for a better show to have a more diverse lineup.
The band that will replace Verse will be none other than SHAI HULUD!! For those of you that could be wondering, I might make an appearance on the mic but I cant promise or commit to anything. Shai Hulud’s singer rules anyway.
The tour kicks off in March.

Chad is a nice dude. I hope to him singing again. I believe that Shai Hulud is replacing their singer on the up coming tour with a well known so cal singer, known to “share a bond” with the fans… (hint hint). More on that when its announced.
Geert? Please tell me your hinting at Geert coming back. I liked him a lot better than the guy they have now. Cant wait to mosh upon the preteens at the philly show
