-so my birthday was on wenesday and it was awesome. i went to espn zone at downtown disney with my two favorite people (josh and kristy). we had a good time. i love my friends.
-i might be getting a raise at work.
-i love my job and i love my boss.
-fridays are awesome. a couple of weeks ago we went to summer hours at work (which means i have to work 9 hours between mon-thu and i only have to work 4 hours on friday).
-i will be spending the rest of the day cleaning the house for my birthday party tomorrow.
-well i better get back to work for the remaining one hour i have to work (i freaking love fridays).

-my car[which is named woodrow] passed smog today. this is a relief because i wasn’t so sure it was going to.
-i watched the opening game of the sparks today[yes i watch and actually enjoy watching women’s basketball]. well anyways they won and i think they are going to win it all this year. last year their superstar lisa leslie was out because she was busy having a baby and they finished in last place which allowed them to get the number 1 draft pick. they picked candace parker [who led tennessee to back to back women’s ncaa tiltles] and today in her first ever wnba game she scored 34 points [the most ever for a rookie in their first game].

-4 days till indiana jones. yay!!!!

-sitting in my room waiting for the finale of the office to come on.

-my sister is home, i am happy.
-there is an opening at my work for a permanent position, my boss told me to apply even though i am not qualified for it. [i guess i will just have to see what happens with that]
-and finally the new death cab for cutie album has come out. it is amazing. ben gibbard you have possessed my heart.

-lunch time [chicken merlot and green beans].
-it’s that time of month and my cat[pheobe] will not leave me alone.
-going to disneyland tomorrow [for the tenth time this year].
-i am in love with kimya dawson as of late.
-the new death cab comes out today.
-weezer pushed up the release date of their album to june 3rd.
-8 days til indy.
-my camera broke so now i have no way of recording my music [boo].
-i’m listening to last weeks “all songs considered” and it is awesome, i have some new music i have to download now.
-why do drive up atms have brail?

-it’s 9:02 am on thursday may 8th.
-i am sitting in my cublicle waiting for my boss to come in because i have nothing left to do until she gets here.
-i wish my co-workers would stop giving me funny looks when i start rocking out on my headphones in the lab.
-i love my boss, she is taking us out to lunch today, i don’t know where, but it is always good (but they always have “B” ratings, i don’t even want to know what goes on in the kitchen).
-on average i probably hear about six different languages a day (and almost no one here has an american accent).
-i don’t think i have ever washed my hands more than i do here.
-i feel like a giant here, i work a bunch of really short people (and that is saying a lot because i am only 5′ 2″).
-would the person who keeps stealing my pens please stop it (i’m looking at you Chi).
-pot lucks are fun.
-safety meetings are the best: people always take up the back rows first, and people play games on their pda’s and it looks like they are taking notes (it’s like i’m in school again).
-well i think i’m gonna go get my hot chocolate now, so i’ll see you later.
-it took me 39 minutes to get home from work today, i find that very suspicious, how is there no traffic on the freeway????
-iron man is awesome, they mention the avengers and marvel announced that the avengers movie will come out in 2011. bah, i can’t wait!!!!
-i have been putting my ipod on shuffle lately and i have to say i have the most random taste in music.
the hill across the street from my work is on fire and it smells like smoke in the labs.
they won last night, which puts them up 2-0 in the first round. here’s a fun little fact:
under phil jackson, everytime the lakers have gone 2-0 in the first round they have made it to the finals.
i am going to be ecstatic if the lakers and celtics meet in the finals!!!!
