wtf?
I’m Jessica, and I’ve been vegan for 5 years. I’m 24, a nutrition/dietetics and food science double major at CSUN and pretty much awesome in every way imaginable. I work at Trader Joe’s, a rad specialty grocery store. Check it out if you haven’t visited one yet. I live in the Los Angeles area with my fat jerk of a cat and spend my time outside of work and school with friends, blowing my paychecks at Amoeba Records, exploring the city, trying out new recipes, DIY crafting, nerding it up, and otherwise entertaining myself.
I intend to use this blog to post recipes I’ve created or tried, especially focusing on those that can be made with ingredients available at Trader Joe’s (though not exclusively). Please note that sometimes the ingredients I use include honey or other bee products, because I personally don’t exclude that from my diet. Also, note that I’m not a crusader - I don’t intend to convert anyone to veganism. If that happens, rad, whatever. But this blog is more about a passion for creating masterpieces in the kitchen than opinions.
